Ive been using Golfshot in conjunction with my apple watch for at least a year or two as a rangefinder mostly. I originally used it for scoring as well but I found that the workflow really wasnt conducive to my tempo even when i recorded everything after finishing out a hole. More of a personal preference probably but I didnt like pulling out my phone in between shots and looking down at it when a pencil and card in my back pocket was a simpler workflow. As a rangefinder, I find it fairly accurate although there is often a bit of a delay because I believe the app stops polling for location after a bit of inactivity which is great for battery life but adds a few seconds of waiting before you can zero in your shot. The watch app displays distance to center of green and not much else. You can change to a different hole from the watch but nothing else. The watch and ios app do not automatically update for what hole you are playing which can be kind of annoying if you arent using it as a scoring device as well. So my beef with the latest version is that when i pull up the app on the watch, it does not poll for the current location many times. so, it will just stick at the old distance and I will have to wake the app on the phone and it will update. Kind of kills the point of having the watch app for me. Hopefully they work out that bug in the near future. Overall it is still the best app that I have found to act as a rangefinder but i prefer another app to record my scores as that app features a free USGA handicap.

Very easy to app. Convenient and accurate. Uses a lot of battery. Works with iwatch, slow to update yardages. Iwatch best use for score keeping. Ive tried other apps but this is the best.

Three issues: 1. For my course, it only showed distance to hole- no hazard info provided. 2. Screen alignment was buggy- while golfing, it would start to slide to show the other holes or exit out of the round, forcing me to go home and dive down again. 3. The scorecard symbols and process wasnt intuitive. Figured it out, but took a hole or two before I began to seriously look at it and figure it out. Good: GPS seemed to work well. Had my course, understood the intricacies of how it plays.

GolfShot gives me what I need, both to maintain my stats, handicap, and play a well informed round. I have to watch out about spending too much time looking at it while playing (not cool)! But the GPS works well and I havent found a course not stored in the library. Yes, Im a real person. And No , I was not compensated to write this. Free apps like GolfNow dont have the same depth, but it depends on what you want.

Such a great app! Perfect for beginners and in depth enough for seasoned players!

Going on my 4th year with this app and i can say it is my most trusted golf app. Plenty of features and accurate. I use a gps watch as well and they are within 1-2 yards always. It keeps getting better with every update.

I have been using this app on my iPhone for years with much love. Now, the app on the Apple Watch is terrific. All layups, hazards, distance to carry, etc are quickly accessible on the watch. Apple Watch 1 with iOS 3, is fast enough to keep the round moving. No one notices me keeping my score on the watch. If you have any issue, customer service is very responsive. The app keeps improving and updates keep coming. Great app & company.

Ive been you using Golfshot for a year now and I absolutely love it. Ive played more golf than Ive ever played and now Im more informed than Ive ever been. I make better club decisions and also inform my teammates of tips/tricks. My buddies own the expensive yardage readers .. Im like yo dude.. let me pull out my phone. Boom! There is your yardage. If you play golf. Get this app!

This was my first time using and everything seemed to work great. I look forward to using it more often and way cheaper than sky golf.

It does what it promises with an interface thats easy to learn and takes no time between holes. For the simple task of getting accurate distance to the green an filling your card is perfect. Thats all I need, for other info I dont know.

I have used this app for more than 4 years. Its gone thru some revisions; but overall the app offers many top of the line features in an easy to use and intuitive interface. I am giving it 3 stars as I originally paid for the pro version years ago and now theyve moved to a subscription service. Thats disappointing and I do feel I threw $30 away instead of getting the free version and then subscribing. Also I think that the recommended club should be present in all versions (on the GPS screen) and not just the pro version. It would speed up rounds for all golfers on the course instead of golfers spending time trying to remember distances and such.

Love this app overall, it has everything I need. Using the Apple Watch for most of the round and checking the phone for hazards and such, I find easier. Only complaint: when you track shots with the Apple Watch, it thinks all of them hit the fairway even when marking them left/right and standing at the spot of the ball. Needless to say I have not hit 100% fairways in my last 5 rounds.

I love everything except I wish for premium service we could include adjustments for wind and/or elevation.

Ive used Golfshot all season. I got a new iPhone and requested a Forgot Password several times. I get no email to reset the password. After several requests, I get no response through FB messenger, and there is no number to call. Its like nobodys home. I guess I will move to a different app because support is so bad and the app is unusable on my new phone.

This is an awesome app. This app makes life easy by allowing you to preview new courses, give you club recommendations & a Lyn awesome visual view to boot. Note you might need an external battery as it is JUICE intensive. Well worth it.
